About us

18 years taking care of the Wasatch Front’s trees

High Limb Tree Co. started in 2008 with one truck, one chipper, and a lot of Siberian elms in Sandy that had outgrown their yards. Eighteen years later we run three crews across three counties, and the person who quotes your job is still the person on the job.

We know what Utah weather does to trees. Heavy wet spring snow splits boxelders, east-canyon winds bring down cottonwood limbs, and dry summers stress anything planted too close to the house. No guessing, no upselling, and no rushing through a job so we can get to the next one.

We handle everything from routine pruning to emergency storm cleanup, and we leave your yard cleaner than we found it.

Why choose us

You take a risk every time you hire a stranger. Here’s why we’re different.

  • Local, not a franchise

We live and work here. The crew lead who quotes your job is on the job, and you get their direct number.

  • Licensed & insured

License #0000000 (placeholder). Put the real license number and insurance carrier here; homeowners look for this line.

  • 24/7 storm response

Canyon wind or wet spring snow at 2 a.m.? A crew lead answers the storm line and makes the tree safe first.

  • No surprise charges

A written price after we have seen the tree. Hauling and chipping included, stump grinding on its own line.

  • Clean-yard promise

Raked, blown, and hauled. If you find our debris after we leave, call us and we come back.

FAQ

Common questions we get

What tree services do you offer?

Tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, storm damage response, crane-assisted removal, and brush and debris cleanup. If it grows in your yard and needs to come down, come back, or get cleaned up, we handle it.

How much does tree removal cost?

It depends on the tree’s size, what it is leaning over, and whether we can get a truck close to it. Most residential jobs on the Wasatch Front land somewhere between a small ornamental and a crane day. We come out, look at the tree, and give you a written price before any work starts.

Are you licensed and insured?

PLACEHOLDER: replace with the real license number and insurance carrier (for example, “Yes. Utah license #0000000, insured through Example Mutual.”) before launch.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free and written, and the price we quote is the price you pay unless you ask us to add work on the day.

What if I have an emergency after hours?

Call the main line any time. After a windstorm or a heavy wet snow, a crew lead answers around the clock. We make the tree safe first and come back for the full cleanup.
