Tree Removal

Dead, leaning, or too-close trees taken down in controlled sections, with the yard left raked and clean.

When a tree has to come out

Most removals we quote on the Wasatch Front are one of three trees: a Siberian elm that has grown into the roofline, a boxelder with a split trunk, or a cottonwood that drops a limb every time the wind comes out of the canyon. If a tree is dead, leaning toward the house, or heaving the driveway, removal is usually cheaper than a decade of emergency calls.

How we take it down

On an open lot we can fell a tree in one piece. Most Sandy, Draper, and Holladay yards are not open lots, so we climb and section it: each limb is cut, lowered on a rope, and walked out to the chipper. Nothing is dropped on a roof, a fence, or a sprinkler line.

What is included

Every removal quote includes hauling the wood and chipping the brush. Stump grinding is quoted as a separate line so you can decide on the day.

Tree Removal questions

Will you grind the stump too?

Stump grinding is quoted as its own line on every removal estimate, so you can decide on the day. We grind six to eight inches below grade.
